Step 1

- You must be the owner of a single-family, multi-family, or mobile home, or a condo in a building with 4 to 30 units located in Laval.
- The oil heating system in your home must have been replaced by an electricity-powered system between September 2017 and the present.
- Ensure the old heating oil tank is professionally dismantled and disposed of.
- You must authorize a representative from the City of Laval to inspect the conformity of your grant application. If you are unsure, consult the Laval Grant Page or reach out to our LesGensdAir experts for assistance.
Step 2
Gather DocumentsGather Supporting Documents After the Work Is Done
- Your most recent fuel or propane delivery bill or annual statement.
- The electricity bill from before the work started (including a table showing historical consumption).
- The invoice provided by LesGensdAir for the system replacement.

Access My FileAccess Your “My File” on the City of Laval Website
If you don’t have an account yet, follow these steps to create one:
- Log into your account and go to the Grants and Programs tab.
- Click the “+” next to Replacing an Oil Heating System.
- Select Fill out the Application Form and complete it by following the instructions on the City of Laval website.
- Once you’ve submitted your form and received confirmation, you can track your request’s status in the My Requests tab.
Step 4
Await ApprovalYou will receive an email notification from the City of Laval informing you whether your request has been approved.
